At DBOS, we believe that great futures begin with opportunity. The DBOS College Grant is our way of investing in the next generation of innovators, changemakers, and leaders. Through this program, we aim to support deserving students in achieving their academic and career goals—empowering them to reach their full potential and make a lasting impact in their communities.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Incoming college freshmen with an average of 85-89%
- Ongoing college students with at least an average of 87-89% or 1.75 or equivalent
- Must enroll or be enrolled in a public or semi-private university within Metro Manila, Central Luzon, or the CALABARZON region (subject to final approval)
- Comes from a financially disadvantaged background (subject to verification).
- Interested in pursuing a career in Accountancy, Psychology, Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Programming, and Information Technology or any related fields.
- Must belong to a family with an annual household income below ₱300,000, based on the official low-income bracket in the Philippines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid identification (School ID, Passport or Birth Certificate)
- Senior High School Diploma
- Academic transcript:
- Senior High School Academic Transcript for incoming freshman
- Class cards for ongoing college students
- Certificate of Good Conduct from the applicant’s current school or senior high school.
- Recommendation letter (optional but recommended) from;
- principal for incoming freshmen
- current or previous professor for ongoing college students
- Financial documents.
- Parents’ or Legal Guardian’s two recent payslips if employed
- Any pension (e.g. SSS, GSIS) statements, if applicable
- Parents’ or Legal Guardian’s Affidavit of Unemployment or Certificate of Indigency (Issued by the barangay (local government unit) where the family resides.)
- Affidavit of Support (if applicable) – If someone other than the parents (e.g., a relative) is supporting the student, a notarised affidavit can declare: The relationship, the kind of support given (e.g., food, shelter, tuition) that the parents are unable to provide financially.
- Enrollment Assessment Slip, Tuition Fee Assessment Form or Statement of Account (SOA) from the university you’re enrolled in or applying for (Can be sent to follow)
- A minimum 1-minute video and 1,000-word essay detailing your qualifications, background, and reasons why you should be selected as a recipient of the DBOS College Grant.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- DBOS will award one scholarship grant for the upcoming school year.
- If the scholar fails to maintain the required academic or program standards within the school year, DBOS reserves the right to select another scholar from the pool of previously qualified applicants or to reopen the application process.
- Relatives of DBOS employees are welcome to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
- Applications will be open from April 1 to May 31, 2026 ahead of the new school year (which typically begins in August)
- The successful applicant will be announced during the DBOS Anniversary Celebration in August; however, the scholarship may commence before the event to align with school enrollment schedules.
- Once a scholar is selected, the decision is final and not subject to appeal.
- If the current scholar fails to meet the required academic standards or is disqualified due to misconduct, a new recipient will be selected to take their place in the following school year.
- The student must maintain a general average of no lower than 87–89% or a grade equivalent of 1.75 per semester. Failure to meet this academic requirement will result in the automatic revocation of both the scholarship and stipend.
- Ongoing college students who are awarded the grant will receive their benefits beginning in the forthcoming semester.
- The DBOS Scholar is required to report in person to the DBOS office at 6F Unit 605 – 606 The Spark Place, P. Tuazon, Cor 10th Avenue, Araneta Center Cubao, Quezon City 1109 Philippines every semester to submit their grade requirements.
- The scholar agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities for the program, which may include photos, videos, or related media materials.
Payout:
- The PHP 50,000 grant will be distributed evenly per semester. Paid directly to the educational institution or based on an agreement.
- If the annual tuition fee is less than the maximum grant, DBOS will only pay the actual amount due. Any excess will not be convertible to cash.
- If the annual tuition fee exceeds PHP 50,000, the scholar is responsible for paying the balance.
- Tuition fees will only be paid upon submission of the required grades and Statement of Account (SOA). Failure to submit these on time means DBOS will not cover any late fees or interest incurred, and will be the scholar’s responsibility.
- Withdrawal from the program without a valid cause may result in termination of sponsorship.
- Top Private universities, such as but not limited to Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), De La Salle University – Manila (DLSU), University of Santo Tomas (UST), Adamson University, and San Beda University, are not eligible for this program.
- This program does not cover public universities that offer zero tuition fees, including but not limited to Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), and Technological University of the Philippines (TUP).The company reserves the right to determine whether zero-tuition-fee schools will be considered.
- The company reserves the right to discontinue support if misconduct or misrepresentation is discovered.
Internship Program:
- A guaranteed internship at DBOS is offered to all DBOS Scholars who wish to take advantage of the opportunity.
- Internship to be scheduled during university break or final year (based on the curriculum).
- Internships to be held at our company in relevant departments.
- Assigned mentors and structured learning goals.
Post-Graduation Opprtunities:
- There are opportunities for employment with our company after graduation, but it will be subject to the availability of a related position. There is no guarantee that the scholar will be given a job, and the company will have no obligation to do so.
- In case there is an open position for it, the department and role will be aligned with the scholar’s competency and the company’s needs.

Yes! You can apply as long as the college or university you’re attending is located within Metro Manila, Central Luzon, or the CALABARZON region.
You can apply between April 1 and May 31, 2026. However, applications may close sooner if we receive a high number of submissions.
All required documents must be submitted; otherwise, the application cannot be considered.
No, DBOS will cover tuition fees up to 50,000 pesos only. Any remaining difference cannot be converted to cash, as stated in our terms and conditions.
Yes, you can, but we recommend applying online. Even if you visit in person, you’ll still need to complete the online application form and submit all required documents electronically.
Yes! Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed in person by our Managing Director and HR Manager.
Only one scholar will be selected. Should the current scholar not meet the academic standards or be disqualified, another recipient will be chosen for the next school year.
Yes! DBOS can still support you, but we will only cover the remaining tuition fees after your existing scholarship has been applied.
